1. Scope
Gluise is a weight-management and general wellness companion for adult women provided by Ylemos Inc, a Wyoming, United States company. Gluise is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
2. Information Gluise handles
Information that stays on your device
Your weight entries, check-ins, reminder settings, cycle context, body-pattern settings, completed tasks, saved plan, and other routine data are stored on your device. Removing the app deletes its local container, subject to Apple backup behavior.
Information sent when you request meal analysis
- The meal photo you select or capture.
- Relevant plan preferences needed to tailor the requested result.
- A random, app-generated installation identifier used for usage limits and abuse prevention. It is not IDFA or an Apple hardware identifier and is not tied to your name or Apple Account.
- Ordinary network information, including IP address, received by hosting infrastructure for security, reliability, and short-term rate limiting.
Meal-photo recognition and nutrition estimates are approximate and may be wrong.
3. Cloud processing and providers
Meal analysis is sent over an encrypted connection to Ylemos-operated infrastructure hosted by Railway and then to OpenAI to generate the requested result. We send only the information needed for that request. Infrastructure and AI providers may retain limited security or abuse-monitoring logs under their policies.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Gluise receives subscription entitlement information but does not receive payment-card details. Apple may provide aggregated App Store analytics, crash reports, performance data, purchase status, or diagnostics according to your Apple settings.
4. Use and retention
We use transmitted information to return meal recognition and general coaching, personalize the requested result, enforce usage limits, protect the service, and maintain reliability. We do not use meal photos or plan data for advertising. We retain information only as reasonably necessary to provide and protect the service or meet legal obligations.
5. Your choices and rights
- Do not use meal-photo analysis if you do not want a photo processed in the cloud.
- Delete on-device entries, use any available reset control, or remove the app.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple App Store account.
- Contact us about applicable access, correction, deletion, or objection rights.
6. Children
Gluise is designed for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security and international processing
We use encrypted network connections and platform security features appropriate to the services described here. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure. Ylemos and its providers may process information in the United States or other jurisdictions where they operate.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
