1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using a Ylemos App, you agree to these Terms of Use and the applicable Apple terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps. If local law does not permit you to accept these terms, you may not use the Apps.

2. What the Apps do

Kindling helps turn English text, webpages, transcripts, and selected podcast audio into learning material. Hedah supports household organization and optional household sharing. Perith supports private symptom and routine tracking for educational reflection.

Some features depend on internet access, Apple services, Ylemos infrastructure, or third-party providers. Features may change as products improve. We may impose reasonable technical and usage limits to protect service reliability and control misuse.

Kindling's dictionary, annotations, grammar explanations, and transcripts are learning aids. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be treated as professional translation or legal advice. Perith does not diagnose, treat, or replace care from a qualified clinician.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Optional subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store and automatically renew for the period shown at purchase unless canceled.
  • Apple charges your App Store account. Prices, taxes, trials, and available plans are displayed before confirmation.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless Apple states otherwise.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies. Ylemos does not receive payment-card information.
  • If subscription validation is unavailable, paid cloud features may be temporarily unavailable while local free features continue where technically possible.

Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a product page states that a custom EULA replaces it.

4. Your content and acceptable use

You keep your rights in content you provide. You grant Ylemos and its service providers a limited right to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the feature you requested.

You are responsible for having the rights or permission needed to import, upload, share, or process content. You may not use the Apps to violate law or third-party rights; bypass quotas or access controls; probe, disrupt, or reverse engineer services except where law expressly permits; automate abusive requests; or upload malicious, unlawful, or exploitative material.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains the information processed by each App, when content leaves your device, and the choices available to you.

6. Intellectual property

The Apps, website, interfaces, software, brand assets, and original content supplied by Ylemos are owned by Ylemos or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Apps for their intended purpose.

7. Availability, disclaimers, and liability

The Apps and services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect transcription, annotation accuracy, compatibility with every webpage or podcast, or that every feature will remain available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ylemos disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, or service interruption arising from use of the Apps. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using an App at any time. We may limit or suspend cloud access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, legal requirements, service maintenance, or nonpayment. Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law in your place of residence provides otherwise. Courts located in Wyoming will have jurisdiction where legally permitted.

10. Changes

We may update these terms when products, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
